Why we need a Savior - Madeline Lily

If we dont grasp the law by understanding its function was to show us sin, than we will never understand our need for a savior.
Romans 7:7 states, "What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! Indeed, I would not have known sin except through the law, for I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, 'You shall not covet
If we don’t understand that the transgression of the law is sin, than we will never understand the meaning behind the whips in His back.
The nails in His hands.
The blood poured out in grace.
Without grasping the law and Gods intolerance of sin, we will never understand the sweetness of the gospel.
The privilege we have in this new heart He has given His children.
The privilege of His Spirit He has given to us to be smeared with His nature.
We must understand God is Holy.
God is righteous.
Without atonement for sin on Jesus body our debt is left unpaid.
Only through Jesus are we able to stand before a holy righteous judge and not be put to shame.
Because Jesus became a curse for us on that tree, we are able to be truly free.
Galatians 3:13
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”
This is the gospel message.
This is the good news.
Hallelujah
