Just glad to hold me

I thought He would ask where I had been. Why I wandered. Why I doubted. Why I stayed away so long. I thought He would list my failures, replay my sins, remind me of every moment I chose my own way over His. But He didn’t. There was no interrogation. No cold shoulder. No “I told you so.” Just open arms. The kind of embrace that silences shame. The kind that steadies a trembling heart. The kind that says, “You’re home.” He wasn’t focused on my past, He was focused on my return. He wasn’t counting my mistakes, He was celebrating my surrender. He wasn’t measuring my worthiness, He was pouring out mercy. That’s the heart of our Father. We expect punishment. He gives restoration. We expect distance. He draws near. We expect disappointment. He gives delight. There is something deeply healing about knowing that when you run back to God, you don’t meet a lecture—you meet love. A love that doesn’t excuse sin, but overcomes it. A love that doesn’t ignore your brokenness, but binds it. A love that doesn’t shame your weakness, but strengthens it. Maybe you’ve been far. Maybe you’ve been numb. Maybe you’ve been carrying guilt so heavy it convinced you to stay away. Come back anyway. Because He is not standing with crossed arms. He is standing with nail-scarred hands open wide. And when you finally fall into them, you’ll realize this truth: He was never waiting to condemn you. He was simply waiting to hold you again.

The voice of the accuser

There is a voice that many know all too well. It does not whisper peace, nor does it remind you of hope. Instead, it points its finger and rehearses your past like a courtroom prosecutor who never rests. It says, 'Look at what you did; you are disqualified.' God sees you, and He must surely turn away. Scripture tells us plainly who this voice belongs to. Revelation 12:10 states, 'For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.' He is relentless. Satan does not accuse you because he has power over you; he accuses you because he is desperate. He knows his only weapon against a child of God is condemnation. If he can convince you to stay away from the throne, he can keep you from the mercy that was purchased for you. But there is another reality that hell fears: the blood. Not your perfection, performance, or past being erased as though it never happened, but the blood of Jesus Christ. Romans 8:33-34 asks, 'Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died.' You see, the accuser may bring charges, but the judge Himself has already declared you justified through His Son. The evidence has been covered; the penalty has been paid; the case has been closed. This is why Scripture does not tell you to crawl to God in terror. Hebrews 4:16 says, 'Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in our time of need. ' It says to come boldly, not because you were always faithful, but because Jesus was. Not because you never fail, but because He never failed. The enemy's accusations lose their power when you stop agreeing with them and start agreeing with what Christ accomplished. When you walk in repentance and surrender, when you walk in holiness not to earn His love, but because His love has already rescued you, Satan's accusations cannot stick to a life that is hidden in Christ. Romans 8:1 'There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.' Notice it does not say there was never sin; it says there is now no condemnation. The accuser grows quieter when obedience grows stronger. His voice weakens when your faith strengthens. His chains fall when your eyes stay fixed on the cross. And one day soon, the accuser will be silenced forever. But even now, his power over you is broken when you stand under the covering of the blood. So when he reminds you of who you were, remind him of who Christ is. When he points at your past, point to the cross. When he tells you to run from God, that is when you run to Him. Because the throne you approach is not a throne of rejection; it is a throne of grace, and the blood of Jesus still speaks a better word. Shalom.

Not looking back

There is something dangerous about looking back. When Jesus calls us out of darkness, He does not lead us halfway; He leads us all the way out. However, the flesh has a memory. The old life can glitter from a distance. What once enslaved us can suddenly look familiar, even comforting. But familiarity is not freedom. Jesus warned plainly, in Luke 17:32 Jesus reminds us to remember Lot's wife. Lot's wife was delivered from destruction; fire was falling behind her. Mercy was pulling her forward, but her heart lingered in what God was judging. She looked back, and in a moment, became frozen in place, a pillar of salt... She escaped Sodom physically, but her heart never fully left it. That is the danger. When Christ delivers us from addiction, from toxic relationships, from worldliness, from old identities, we cannot afford to romanticize what nearly destroyed us. The enemy will always repaint bondage as pleasure; he will always blur the memory of the chains. But chains are still chains, even if they shine. Think about Moses leading Israel out of Egypt. The Red Sea parted; miracles fell like rain. Pharaoh's grip was broken, and yet in the wilderness, the people cried (Exodus 16:3), 'Would to God we had died in the land of Egypt!' They longed for Egypt, the place of slavery, the place of oppression, the place where they cried out for deliverance. Bondage can feel safer than trusting God in the unknown. The wilderness may feel uncomfortable; growth may feel stretching, and obedience may feel lonely. But do not confuse discomfort with captivity. When Jesus leads you out, do not look back longingly at what He rescued you from (2 Peter 2:22). The dog is turned to his own vomit again. This is strong language, but it reveals the truth: returning to sin never restores dignity; it revives decay. When God delivers us, it is not to tease but to transform us. The cross was not cheap, and the blood was not spilled so we could flirt with what once enslaved us. We cannot walk fully into the promise while staring at our past. If Christ brought us out, we must stay out. If He's broken the chains, leave them broken. If He's closed the door, may we not reopen it. There is more ahead than behind. The narrow road may feel quieter. Holiness does set us apart, and forward with Jesus is always safer than going backwards into bondage. So persevere and look to the cross. We may pass through the wilderness, but we know we will enter the promised land if we do not give up! . The same God that parts seas, also says don't go back The Savior who delivers, says stay free! . . Galatians 5:1 stand fast therefore in the Liberty which Christ has made us free and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.   © End times prophecy

Mary Magdalene

The Bible tells us that Mary Magdalene had seven unclean spirits cast out of her (Luke 8:2). Not one, not a small struggle, not a mild inconvenience Her story did not begin in purity; it began in bondage. And yet, her story did not end there. When she encountered Jesus, everything changed. He did not recoil; He did not shame her; He did not lecture her about her past before delivering her. He spoke, and darkness obeyed. The same Jesus is still our deliverer today, no matter what your past holds, what you wrestled with, or what labels were placed on you. No matter how heavy the shame once felt, deliverance is not determined by how deep the pit was; it is determined by how powerful our Savior is. And He is mighty. Mary Magdalene did not become the woman who used to be possessed; she became a devoted follower of Christ. She supported His ministry; she stood near the cross when others fled; she was among the first to witness the resurrection. Think about that – the woman once tormented by seven spirits became a witness to the empty tomb. That is what Jesus does: He does not just remove demons; He restores identity. He does not just break chains; He gives purpose. Shame says shrink back, but Grace says step forward. Shame whispers, 'You're disqualified,' but Jesus says, 'Follow Me.' (2 Corinthians 5:17) Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things become new – not patched up, not partially forgiven, and not permanently branded by your worst season. We are made new. Women are not an afterthought in God's kingdom; from the beginning, He formed woman with intention, strength, and dignity. He did not create you to live bowed under condemnation; He created you to walk in freedom. Bold does not mean loud; bold means surrendered, bold means obedient – it means saying yes, Lord, even when your past tries to pull you backwards. Mary could have lived hidden in shame after her deliverance; instead, she followed Christ, and that is the invitation to every woman reading this: Let the shame fall off; let the chains stay broken; and let the past stay buried under grace. Follow Him. (Romans 8:1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. The same Jesus who commanded seven spirits to leave can command fear to leave; He can command addiction to loosen its grip, and command tormenting thoughts to be still. You are not your past or your worst mistake; you are not the names people called you. You are who He says you are – delivered, redeemed, chosen, and bold. Walk in it. © End Times Prophecy

Words are powerful

I want to repost an experience from several years ago that I believe will help some people today. Witchcraft isn’t just spells and magic, it’s in the power of the words people speak. Last night I had sharp pain under my shoulder that almost took my breath. It lasted several hours. As soon as it happened I heard “witchcraft”. I prayed, I bound witchcraft, and it wasn’t until my husband prayed that I was released. This morning I was praying and trying to figure out where it came from. Suddenly I saw 2 Christian women on the phone talking about me. One was someone I love dearly!! They released witchcraft against me through their words and it was a spiritual dagger in my back. Word curses are very serious and as prophetic people we must be careful with what’s coming out of our mouth. Venting, ranting and raving, blaming and speaking ill of others isn’t acceptable. We are going to give an account of every idle word we speak. Words are powerful and with them we can create or we can destroy, we can bless or we can curse. Choose wisely because whatever we sow, we will reap. I’m grateful that no weapon forged against me will prosper and every tongue that rises against me will be brought to nothing. I’m wiser for this and will watch my own words closer. I want to release blessings and be a blessing in Jesus name!!   © Angela Stress

Modern Christianity

"Why the “Love-Only” Gospel Is Failing the Church Modern Christianity has elevated a shallow version of love and called it faith. God is portrayed as endlessly gentle, endlessly affirming, and never demanding. Truth is optional. Obedience is uncomfortable. Repentance is avoided.   But Scripture doesn’t support that picture.   Many now believe love means acceptance without change. Agreement without repentance. Grace without obedience. If Scripture challenges behavior, it’s dismissed as judgment. Yet that kind of “love” doesn’t save—it slowly destroys.   Biblical love speaks truth. It warns when paths lead to harm. It refuses to bless what God forbids. And it always aims to bring people fully to Christ, not just emotionally close to Him.   Jesus didn’t negotiate with sin. He confronted it. He didn’t build His ministry on vibes—He built it on truth. He said love for Him is demonstrated through obedience (John 14:15).   Yes, God is love (1 John 4:8). But that same God disciplines His children (Hebrews 12:6). Grace and truth are inseparable (John 1:14).   A faith that never corrects isn’t compassionate—it’s cowardly. A church that refuses to confront sin produces believers who are emotionally charged but spiritually shallow.   So ask honestly: do you want the Savior who comforts—or the King who commands?   Because the Jesus of Scripture doesn’t adjust truth to fit feelings. He calls people out of sin—and into life."

Let the one with ears hear

Jesus wasn’t rejected by sinners. He was rejected by the religious. He wasn’t cast out of brothels— He was pushed out of synagogues. The same mouths that quoted Scripture could not tolerate His presence. They said He cast out demons by Beelzebul. They called Him a glutton and a drunkard. They labeled Him arrogant, dangerous, and out of order. Why? Because He disrupted control. He exposed hypocrisy. He carried authority they could not manage. “He has a demon,” they said. “By the prince of demons He drives out demons,” they accused. Not because it was true— but because truth threatened their power. Jesus was not gentle with false holiness. He did not negotiate with systems that preferred appearance over obedience. And when the church refused to repent, they expelled Him. And here’s the uncomfortable truth: Jesus is still being choked out of churches today. Not by atheists. Not by witches. But by religion that resists His Spirit. Just as they resisted Him then, they resist Him now. They welcome His name— but reject His authority. They sing about Him— but silence His voice. They tolerate sermons— but shut down deliverance. They love structure— but fear surrender. “You always resist the Holy Spirit,” Scripture says—“just as your ancestors did.” Nothing has changed. The Spirit that exposes demons is still called “too much.” The authority that frees captives is still labeled “pride.” The Jesus who overturns tables is still unwelcome in houses built on control. But hear this clearly: Rejection does not invalidate truth. Accusation does not cancel authority. And being pushed out does not mean He is absent—it means judgment is near. The same Jesus they rejected is the One who will return. Not as a guest— but as King. Choose now who you will align with. Because history is repeating itself—and Scripture says it will. Let the one with ears hear. —Born Again Ekklesia

Het occulte - Amaris getuigenis

"Goed gedaan, mijn trouwe dienares". Maarehm....... Voor mij was die bruggetje o.a mijn man. Liefs!

Christian Witch

"The idea of a “Christian witch” rests on a misunderstanding of both Christianity and witchcraft. Scripture rejects the concept outright—not because it denies supernatural power, but because it refuses power separated from God’s command. Witchcraft operates by manipulating created forces. Christianity operates by submitting to the Creator. God is not summoned, channeled, or activated. He speaks, commands, and acts according to His will. Relationship—not ritual—is the foundation of biblical faith. Throughout Scripture, false power is real but unauthorized. Occult signs appear in Exodus. Sorcery appears in Acts. The issue is never whether power exists—it is who rules it. Witchcraft elevates the self as the controller. Faith places God as Lord. This is why Scripture draws an uncompromising boundary: If God does not initiate it, it is not holy. If God does not command it, it is not divine. If God does not receive the glory, it is not from Him. Christianity cannot merge with witchcraft because Christianity is not about accessing power—it is about surrendering to authority. And God does not share His throne."

Alles is mij vergeven! Wees bereid, wees vrij! Halleluja! Liefs.

Good Christian Women

There’s a girl who loves God but feels like she messed up her “Christian image” so bad that she should probably just sit in the back and stay quiet. Divorce. A baby before marriage. A situationship she knew wasn’t from God. A season where she walked away and did everything she said she’d never do. So now when people talk about “good Christian women,” she doesn’t put herself in that category. She thinks, “I’ve done too much.” “I’ve gone too far.” “I can’t talk about God when people know what I’ve done.” But here’s the truth: God is not embarrassed by the story He’s rewriting. The very parts you’re trying to hide are often the exact parts He wants to use. The divorce… taught you how to spot real love. The wilderness season… taught you what life feels like without Him. The mistakes… gave you compassion for people who are still in it. You don’t have to pretend you’ve always done it right for God to move through you. The Bible is full of people who would have been “bad PR” by church standards… and God still put their stories in print. So no, you didn’t ruin your witness. You made it relatable. You are not the girl who “lost her chance.” You are the girl who gets to say, “I ran, I fell, I chose wrong… and God still came after me.” That kind of honesty will reach people a polished, perfect story never could.
